👋 Lovelies 😘 Can't believe its been a month since I've been on here?! A month since my major dental surgery A month putting in the work personally, physically & mentally. I have had to deal with a lot of trauma & process at my own pace, but by allowing myself that time I feel stronger than ever. I took time away & it's been a revelation. I will speak more about losing all my top teeth & show my new smile when I'm ready, but for now I wanted to share a few things I've learned. ✅ I'm allowed to keep my boundaries & say no ✅ I'm allowed to use my time the way I wish to & not by others expectations ✅ Its vital I put myself first in order to help others ✅ I can do or be anything I want to be if I put my mind to it. I have control of my own frequency ✅ I'm allowed to feel proud of myself without fear of judgement ✅ I'm allowed to struggle without fear of judgement ✅ Reflecting is just as important as living in the now; it allows us to declutter ✅ I can embrace change & be spontaneous ✅ I'm allowed to forgive & let go ✅ The Recovery after the Recovery is ongoing & I'm embracing it & seeing it as a positive in my life to learn & grow I feel so excited for my new beginning. So much so, that Mum asked if I wanted to get a matching tattoo with her last minute, of a feather 🪶. I said yes! Me who has never even had a piercing or #tattoo in her life 😂 I feel alive & for the first time in a long time, mentally, as light as a feather 🙏 ❤️this tattoo symbolises my fresh start 🌱 Thank you Bish on Holderness Road, Hull. I can't wait to share more of the end results once I'm healed fully & share the journey we've been on together in the hope we can help more people affected by eating disorders & the impact on their teeth. As well as the importance of educating health care professionals about #eatingdisorders & the empathy & understanding that is desperately needed.
