In MSF projects, we see many patients coming in with the complications of diabetes because they have not been able to access the treatments they need. Along with access to insulin itself, it's a challenge for diabetic patients to find and afford the bundle of tools required – needles, syringes and monitoring devices. Effective treatment still remains out of reach for over half of people with diabetes worldwide.
