Today's pick has a multi-layered meaning. The Blood Trials by @nia.davenport is one of my favorite fantasies because it is literal Black girl magic, warrior edition. This book was chosen by our Director of Youth Programming, Dr. Jamil Gilliam, a fellow Spartanburg native.
