A few months ago I decided to start taking photos of myself inspired by @anna x 🫶✨ Its been a surprisingly healing experience after pushing past the initial awkwardnes haha! As a DV/SA survivor from a relationship I was in at 18, I’ve always had a hard time letting myself feel sensual or beautiful in my adult life. This process has been a way for me to step out of my comfort zone in a safe way. Although this 1800s aesthetic may not be what comes to mind when everyone thinks “sensual”, I felt so beautiful leaning into this romantic aesthetic.
