When you go to art school you’re not really given a direct path to a real occupation or guarantee that you will ever make a living as an artist 🤪. You get to develop your craft, style and techniques but as for a money making job path to paying your rent that’s not really it.🤪 However the most solid piece of advice that has stuck with me over the years by one wise professor was that “if you have the passion for what your doing, that’s the only way it will all work.” I didn’t realize what that meant, I thought if you worked hard, it would all fall into place. But that’s not it. It was that if you have that passion to keep going and honing your craft through the highs and lows and through the marathon of it all you will do well. It’s all about the passion, the heart of it all. ♥️ There is one guarantee in this path though, that’s if you stick in it you will come across interesting talented individuals like @elenahullcournot who also have a passion for their art that is driving their life.
