I typically cut curly hair dry. I use a method that I call the “Brush Out” method- which really works for my clients who have Leo sun signs 😝. I cut into the curl as it naturally sits, then brush it out and really dig into the architecture. I then clarify the hair, use a treatment or masque to reconstitute the moisture levels and then set with a product that fits the clients hair texture and let me tell you- no curl is the same and often curly clients have multiple curl patterns on their head!
