I was going to try to put together a video to snapshot the whirlwind that's been this year but it felt like too mammoth a task. Instead, a flashback to my final event of the year, in conversation with @drjessicabharris and then @thefoodgriot thanks to @mofad and @sarikamin. A truly special evening to round off a magical, unforgettable and emotional year. Thanks to everyone who has taken Motherland into their hearts; the reception has been more than I could have ever hoped for. It's been so weird watching it leave my imagination and become a reality and I'll never forget this year. And a massive kiss to everyone who's shouted about it, written about it, spoken about it and spread the message. I see you and your support. Working in food and getting to write about it was a dream that at one point I thought would never happen. So to have written an actual book, one that I cherish, is still magical.
