I finally tried out @sophiemariecurly ‘s viral#flipsectionmethod ! I’ve been mostly styling upright for months but I had to try this method on my wavy curly hair! Overall I was pretty happy with the results. I did feel like my hands and the brush were awkward. This is something I would need to practice to get the hang of - things like making sure to put my hand between sections, brushing under vs over, and dividing the curl clumps. I think most methods take some practice to perfect for each person, so if you try this method or any other, give it a few tries and experiment with tweaks to see what works best for you.
