Some more Sad Day BTS. Initially Hiro’s idea was to end on roof but due to schedule issues we were not able to film at night. So we found a funky empty rooftop loft and moved the ending inside. John Stevenson our Production Designer did a marvelous job improvising and dressing the space with very little time. Sword fights indoors are quite tricky for blocking so we shot the entire sequence on a Trinity Rig operated by @fletcha . It allowed us to get close to the action while dodging furniture and swords. Towards the end of the shot you can see fletcha using it in “spartan” mode like a spear, which become quite necessary in the Chips Shop. You can also see @fkatwigs and @teakemovements going full tilt here. They went full speed in every shot which made it quite intense as one wrong move and you could lose a ear. 😬
