Wow! And just like that - my “vacation” is over! My heart is filled with gratitude - last night was a CELEBRATION of PRIDE that we hope to continue through the rest of the year. I set intentions in January before embarking on this journey with @freestylelovesupreme - (there is a short video on YouTube about it) - but here is the gist: I would commit 133% to building my life. I would dismantle every structure within my being that no longer served me, or made me hide my true form. So - here we go: @bobmcandrewactingstudio - I know I was resistant all the way, but thank you for pushing me to dive deeper into the mind-body connection in my acting. And for your patience and clarity in creative thought. @jennjademusic, you are simply a force. I’m so appreciative of our rapport and how we care for each other - this month would have been such a crazy time without our crazy texts and check-ins. Paris was a DREAM! I’ll travel the world with you ANYTIME, ANY PLACE. The CAVE?! Baby.... Let’s goooo! @mintons_harlem - Raphael and Mark (and staff), the work that we do is extremely precious and must be cultivated and pruned. Thank you for being extremely gracious with the groups I bring in. @cloakroomharlem - Ady! Mamacita & the Crew! What a warm inviting space. It has always been a dream of mine to play/sing jazz in an actual speakeasy. I can’t wait to see your spot blow up and be a staple in the Harlem community.
