With our summers being so brutal and our foliage so dense, scouting becomes significantly less productive during summer when you don’t have agricultural land to rely on. I primarily use March and April as a way to choose camera locations and starting points for August and September so I’m not shooting blind when intel matters most. This way, I can walk straight to where I need to when it’s time to deploy cameras and not need to hope for the best.
