Don’t hate anyone for not choosing you or being who you wanted them to be. You can’t always get what you want, and sometimes what you want is not what you really need. Stay grounded in who you are and let what comes come, and what goes simply go. This doesn’t mean you have to be detached. Attachment is normal and human, it just means being more conscious of the fact that life will not always go your way and that’s 100% ok.
