WHY WE REWILD Latin America's biodiversity has declined 94 percent since 1970, according to the new 2022 Living Planet Report. What’s at stake with the global biodiversity crisis? Everything. But there is a way to combat the catastrophic decline of species - through REWILDING. We want the world to know that REWILDING is a revolutionary force for the future of our planet. Our new rewilding story map (link in bio) tells true stories of how returning key species to the landscape, from carnivores to seed dispersers, can impact whole ecosystems. Even one individual animal, like a lone jaguar, can make a difference. These successes inspire Tompkins Conservation, and its offspring organizations @Rewilding_Argentina and @RewildingChile, to rewild. Get on board with rewilding! Support our work or find ways to bring rewilding into conservation efforts where you live, for biodiversity and climate stability, and healthy human communities too. We can't let extinction continue on our watch.
