Fashionistas turned out in force for the Bellamianta Sustainable Style Event At Kilbeggan Races as judges are bowled over by a repurposed bridal outfit and freshly picked flower crown! 💐
The largest race meeting of the year took place at Kilbeggan Races where we saw Ireland’s very first Sustainable Style Ladies Event sponsored by Bellamianta Luxury Tanning, with Industry Expert Mark Rogers taking the reins as Judge of this year’s event on behalf of the one of the country’s top brands.
Fashionistas turned out in force from every corner of the country to show off their upcycled, borrowed, handmade and thrifted outfits, in hopes of winning the incredible €5000 prize. The ultimate winner was 32 year old Mary Gardiner, who took home prizes from @bellamianta, @bodybyrne, @annutri_co, @casmarairl, @truebeautybyak, @kotanical.ie , @polished_london, @declare_ireland, @linenshirtcompany, @pelodolls and @voduzhair, as well as €1000 cash.
Mary wore a stunning ivory one-piece long sleeved jumpsuit with a deep v neckline from Net-A-Porter. The outfit was originally bought with a vision of wearing it on her wedding day, but Mary and her partner paused wedding preparations when they found out they were expecting a baby. The jumpsuit was paired with an ASOS belt and her Jimmy Choo wedding shoes, and not to forget, an astonishing handmade flower crown featuring an array of baby’s breath and roses in vibrantly beautiful colours, which was freshly created by Mary using flowers from her Mother-In-Law’s garden.
