This week, we honored the remarkable life of Franklin Thomas, @FordFoundation's president from 1979-96, and celebrated the publication of his memoir, “An Unplanned Life.” I, along with so many of us, miss his quiet, thoughtful mentorship, friendship, and visionary leadership. #FranklinThomas shaped a half-century of human progress in New York and the world, and he shaped the course of my life as a mentor, counselor, and friend. His legacy lives on through his family, who I am so pleased were able to join Monday's celebration.
