Sometimes you drive through the beginnings of a hurricane and wait outside in the pouring rain to be barricade for an artist whose music is really dear to you and while you’re at the barricade you motion over the photographer and ask them, “How did you get into this?” and then four years later you’re the photographer being motioned over the ever-wonderful @chvrches for Paste Magazine (p.s. if anyone recognizes the person with little lightning bolts on their face in slide 5 pleaseplease tag them so I can send them the high-res copy of the photo, their energy was so lovely) ⚡️❣️
