Although my experience isn’t the same as my trans sisters, I want you to know in solids that I do understand what it is like to be told that I am NOT a woman in the “right ways”. My own community & society have constantly reminded me that I had forsaken my “womanhood” and “motherhood” because I didn’t act according to religious dogma & I have rejected harmful constructs to my own family’s health—& especially MY own mental & physical health.
