I did a cute shoot with @daily_sleeper for their summer collection a couple weeks ago and bought these sunflowers as a prop. I had to catch a train right after we wrapped and wasn’t sure I could take the flowers with me because my hands were full with multiple bags of clothes from the shoot. I really didn’t want to throw them away though so I was standing on a sidewalk corner debating whether I should just rest them on top of a trash receptacle or mailbox for someone to find when a car pulled up across the street and the woman driving leaned out and shouted, “hey where did you get those pretty sunflowers?” After a stunned pause I blurted, “do you want them????” Her whole face lit up as I passed them through the car window, taxi horns blaring behind us. You gotta love New York.
