We’re not gonna lie, after a three year hiatus we had high hopes for FM2022. But we also knew our first event post covid in a new location was bound to be tricky and, behind the scenes it was, but damn! That was one helluva a party. We hosted more takeovers than ever before and it was a joy to see @dsuperstore, @touching_bass, @room4resistance, @daytimers_uk and FM mainstay @machineparties all do their thing. We’d like to shout out every single impeccable set from every single amazing DJ but insta won’t let us tag everyone so for now, one honourable mention to the insanely magic closing set from @erisdrew & @octoocta... Surrounded by House of Slopulence dressed as mushrooms and the Dalston Superstore gogos, Eris & Maya ensured FM ended on the highest of highs!! The dons @Sound_services supplied us with some incredible Funktion 1 systems this year including some new kit that’s only just been released - and it was definitely the most mind-blowing sound we have ever had. But you can book the best DJs and the best soundsystems but none of that matters if the crowd is lacking... The most common remarks we had this year were about the ravers “best crowd ever”, “we all felt so safe”, “not one dickehead” so the biggest shout out goes to our FM Fam - you make this party what it is.
