It was such a beautiful evening at Drimbawn Estate celebrating Brigid Clesham’s book, Tourmakeady History & Society which is a fascinating deep-dive into the local history of the area & Drimbawn where the party was held. I have been dipping in & out of this book and have learnt so much about the local history. With lockdowns & restrictions the book launch may be nearly a year over due but we were blessed with a beautiful sunny evening - much like the book which Bridget started researching in 2011, it was well worth the wait!
