Our newest member of the pup cult is making us all laugh with his expressive face! Gene was found on the street in terrible shape. He was chipped but his previous owners didn’t want him back. At the vet yesterday we discovered Gene’s dry eyes caused permanent scarring on both eyes, he has a very painful skin and ear infection, and he will need surgery to remove two lumps for testing. Despite his mature appearance, Gene’s teeth are surprisingly pearly white and perfect. The vet believes he is only 4-6 years old! Now on the mend, Gene proves to be the most cuddly guy. His pug foster brother, @macpuglisi, is showing him the ropes and we are so thankful to his fosters for helping him get better!
