Our badges are banded in honor of @texas_dps Trooper Kevin Vasquez, who was struck by a vehicle on Sept 17 while working a crash near Notrees and passed away today from his injuries. Trooper Vasquez was a US Army Veteran and had joined DPS in 2023. We will never forget his sacrifice.
