We sit on our honeymoon both reeling from the love that was shared at our wedding last weekend and as parents stricken to pause with the loss of the precious little ones in TX this week. There are no words. We see the poles of joy and sadness this week. And here we are. Choosing to envelop the realities of pain and sorrow, fear and control while still choosing to express a responsible and bright future. We are so grateful for those who could make it to the wedding and those sending love from afar. It’s these moments that make life worth the risk, the struggle, the striving, the reinvention. We must remember. It’s love like that grown between Alli and myself over the last 3 years that tells a story. Two people from extremely different backgrounds, different life trajectories, different historical sets of values even...love does something mysterious. It binds. It loosens. It makes a way.
