He is on the road, by himself, 300+ days out of the year. He can name, on both hands, cities in the US he can pull up to and sell between 100-300 tickets in. His merch store sold $1,000+ dollars in a day last month. What Brendan has done for himself is exactly what I've been circling for the past month, but what I've been hesitant to continue preaching, due to uncertainty if actually possible in today's climate with artists at a lower level...the creation & execution of a personal / parallel economy, that focuses not on chasing the clouty bullshittish internet fads, but one that builds on top of itself, brick by brick, show by show, t-shirt by t-shirt, stream by stream, song by song, fan by fan.
