Together with Mass Appeal and @hiphop50, we’re creating the definitive destination for celebrating hip-hop’s global impact on visual expression – a traveling exhibition and immersive experience bringing together a roster of artists who have documented this cultural phenomenon. On view through May 2023, ‘Hip-Hop: Conscious, Unconscious’ features over 200 photographs, and traces the rise and proliferation of hip-hop through five decades of work from trailblazing image-makers who helped codify hip-hop as the most influential pop culture movement of its generation. Taking over two museum floors, the exhibition is presented in collaboration with @chase @marriottbonvoy credit cards and adds to Mass Appeal’s Hip Hop 50 cross-platform initiative - a manifestation of the company’s commitment to celebrating the culture in the most authentic and globally impactful way possible.
