This Thanksgiving hit different. I got to bring my nana down to spend time with her great-grandbaby, and it honestly meant everything. I’ve shared my story before… my mom struggled with substance abuse, so my nana was the one who raised me. We were always close, even through the moments where I let her down during my own battles. She never gave up on me. To sit here now, sober, a new mom, showing her the life I built… it’s the kind of full-circle moment you dream about. Happy Thanksgiving if I didn’t say it yesterday.
