🎄Happy Holidays🎄Next stop:Yes We Can - Juarez 🎅🏽❤️ . This year we had our largest holiday events to date benefitting 400 children, 279 parents, 11 school performances, 3 school locations, 2 cities ❤️🚌👩🏻‍🏫 . At Yes We Can - Juarez students prepared their school presentations with lots of energy. All parents were invited to celebrate and watch their kids holiday presentations. Kindergarten performed “Navidad Rock” 🎄🎸🤘, elementary grades 1-5 performed “Feliz Navidad” and “Campana sobre Campaña” 🔔👼 and our middle school class performed a play the teachers and students co-wrote together about the importance of spending this time with family and loving one another instead of spacing our time stressed out about gifts and material things 😊 . Students then enjoyed a delicious warm meal and a sweet cake for desert by @wckitchen 🤤 who have always been such a big part of our work at the border and made this holiday party so delicious 🤤 . Our students got to also break piñatas 🪅 where some piñatas were bigger than our littles 😅 Everyone got yummy candy and had a great time hitting the piñata 🤪 .
