Idol: The Coup US: Iqiyi or iq.com / Mondays+Tuesdays 6am Korea: JTBC / Mondays+Tuesdays 11pm It all started with a meeting over dinner in Seoul. My future production partners listened to my pitch and were secretly getting ready to reject the idea. When dinner was over we decided to go to a bar for another round when I was hit by a cab crossing the street. Sung Ji-hye, Song Chang-joon and Sam Chi accompanied me to ER to see if I was ok. As I lay in bed waiting for a C Scan I somehow knew that things were going to turn out right. Fast forward a couple of years and now I’m watching the show come to life at home! I want to thank Charles Chu my creative partner and co-producer on the project. My crazy superstar producer Sung Ji-hye who wore a million hats to get this done! My executive producing partner Sam Chi who introduced me to my amazing partners and gave me guidance on how to navigate through Korea. Son Chang-joon for pushing us through development. Of course our amazing writer Jung Yoon-jung who not only put together an amazing script but had the heart to take a chance on working with me, a gyopo lol.
