French Dip Crescent Braid (with au jus) 🏈recipe below🏈 This sandwich makes the perfect meal to serve the next time you are watching football, regardless what time the game is on - great for lunch or dinner. My football fans love it and I know yours will too! The perfect hand-held meal and SO delicious! Go Bears! 🏈 French Dip Crescent Braid (with au jus) 🏈Ingredients: 1 package crescent dough sheets 1/2 lb thinly sliced roast beef 2 tbsp horseradish sauce 8 slices havarti 1/2 large yellow onion sliced 1 tbsp olive oil 1 egg mixed with 1 tbsp of water 2 tbsp sesame seeds Au Jus packet 🏈Instructions: Preheat oven to 350°. Sauté onions in oil over medium low for 10-15 minutes until soft and golden brown. Line a baking sheet with parchment. Roll the crescent dough sheets out on the parchment lined baking sheet. Spread horseradish sauce down the middle of the crescent dough sheet. Lay 4 slices of cheese down the middle on top of the horseradish. Next top the cheese with all of the slices of roast beef. Next the sautéed onions. And finally, the other four slices of cheese. Cut 2 inch slits around edges of the dough. Start at one side and fold the strips over the filling, one side then the other, overlapping them like a braid. Try to cover the filling as much as possible with the crescent dough. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake 25-30 minutes. Cut into slices and dip into Au Just Sauce. Au Jus 🏈Ingredients: 1 packet of Au Jus Gravy Mix 3 cups water 1 tsp olive oil 1/2 tsp chopped garlic 3 tbs butter 🏈Instructions: Heat oil in a small saucepan. Add garlic and cook until just fragrant. Add Au Jus packet to the garlic and stir. Add 3 cups of water to Au Jus mixture and bring to a boil. Once a boil has been reached, lower the heat and stir in 3 tbs of butter until combined. XO Babs #footballrecipe #fallrecipes #frenchdip
