Hello, I’m Scott and I set up @revive_eco in 2015 along with my co-founder Fergus. We were studying entrepreneurship @unistrathclyde, and worked in Glasgow cafes alongside this. At the end of every shift we’d take bags of used coffee grounds and throw them in the bin... this was normal but it didn’t feel right to us. We started looking at what we could do with the coffee grounds, and Revive was born! Fast forward a few years (and many bumps in the road) and Revive is now a pioneering green technology company, turning used coffee grounds into sustainable ingredients for use in cosmetics and food products. We’ve diverted over 100 tonnes of coffee grounds away from landfill so far, thanks to our work with some of our fantastic partners across Scotland. We take huge inspiration from our surroundings here in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We feel a sense of passion and responsibility to build a business that can protect the environment we call home, and have a truly positive environmental impact on a global scale. Next up for us is all about growing Revive and increasing our impact both here in Scotland and further afield. We’ll be creating more green jobs and moving to a larger scale operation.
