now that i got your attention for my wasted look, i can talk about the scariest halloween horror story that took place last night. we witnessed cops infiltrate a private queer safe space, segregate attendees by birth-assigned gender, and single out all men in skirts, transwomen, drag queens and gender non-conforming individuals just because of what they chose to wear to a HALLOWEEN PARTY; an attack on an already marginalised group of people who came together for a night of self-expression and harmless fun. watching the people you love and consider family being ordered around and taken away as you sit helplessly trying to maintain decorum in a ridiculous outfit... not a good time. there is more i want to say but we live in a surveillance state so i’ll just thank @jejakaorg @legaldignity @numanafifi and other lawyers and activists who helped and are still actively helping. doing God’s work 🙏🏼🥺 while queer people in first world countries joke about how ‘cool and badass’ they are for being illegal in 69 countries, this is the ugly truth of our reality. check yourselves.
