It’s not easy for most people to feel natural in front of the camera, so to make sure my couples feel comfortable being vulnerable by stepping in front of my camera, I first spend some time getting to know them and their story. Having a genuine connection and friendship with my couples is so important to me, and helps create a safe space for them to be authentic! If I know you and have a connection with you it helps me photograph you in a way that feels genuine to who you are! . As the couple being photographed, it may be counter-intuitive to not worry about the little things when being photographed. But I promise your photos will come out that much more amazing, and special, and real, when you focus more on having fun with your partner, than if every hair is perfectly placed.
