I had an opportunity to shoot Trevor "Trouble" Andrew several years ago and was instantly intrigued by his vast array of talents and interests. He’s a professional snowboarder, musician and the artist behind the wildly successful Gucci Ghost project. A few years ago, he appropriated the logo from one of the most recognizable luxury brands in the world - his iconic ghost motif found on t-shirts, paintings, and tags around New York City cultivated such an avid following that it caught the attention of Gucci. Rather than sending him a cease and desist order, Gucci eventually offered him an official collaboration. Since then he’s built Gucci Ghost into a prolific enterprise culminating with an NFT drop in 2021 that generated several million dollars in sales in one evening.
