Had a powerful little moment this past month eating sushi on a seaside cliff (Fig. 7). 😮‍💨 By some sheer magic I was able to connect a few Sick Gigs (Fig. 3-4) to my first true solo travel experience, road tripping + surfing across Spain and Portugal (Fig. 1-2, 5, 10), and tagged it on the end with a very special trip to Puerto Rico, then quick stint in London before home to LA. The question (and stunt) of it all being... how tf to remain grounded and balanced throughout? Traveling but staying connected, working but taking space, animated but also resting in the awareness of it all. This trip had me wrestling with this, and relaxing into it. The world didn’t used to offer such an experience, yet here I am – insanely lucky to witness and partake in it all, and before I’ve yet turned 30.
