Living hopefully means learning, and this horrible experience has taught me a great deal. I will talk about that later in another writing,but for now, let’s just say, Lord message received loud and clear. I learned that I am blessed, despite constant pain. And despite all the best neurosurgeons, skull surgeons and other top docs, my situation is not full resolved because my condition is so rare, so I still face an uncertain future. I honestly thought that even though I had my faith and a whole lot of love all around me, still at times I didn’t think I was going to make it. It was just too much. But beautiful love came. A blessing that was so wonderfully unexpected; queens who started a hashtag #wearehereforyoulorraine Seriously who does that?🥲 And then they went on to create and sponsor a parade of purple looks of love to give me something extra to hold on to. It was surreal and I will never ever forget it. And even more amazing was that many of these queens were new to the community! So this was amaaaaazing! But as great as all of this was, equally sad was who I didn’t hear from. If this had been situation where I was needed to post a look nor a picture (maybe you don’t have time to do a look) and put a beautiful message underneath, then use that hashtag and post it publicly, it would have been done in a quickness. I would have loved the idea and the sentiment behind it, because we never leave a queen behind. So this isn’t about me. It’s about what I want the warrior queens to stand for going forward. And to that end I am having a logo designed for the warrior queens, trademark, and our own Purple Heart. Once a month a post will appear with an original and inspirational writing to lift spirits for anyone who needs it.Anyone. They will be able to find love, faith(all faiths welcome), friendship, loyalty and support. I am also going to use those Purple Heart Days to give our magnificent queens a turn to share their stories of survival,finding their voice and forming networks of power. We are one bad ass group, but there are times several of us need the queens to take it to the wall and help some folks shoulder the load. #warriorqueenslineup
