AD Sunday long run done ✅ Wow that felt so much better than last Sundays run. Ok, it was 10 miles not 12 but I felt so much better from the start. On reflection, I was defo still a little unwell last weekend but hey ho! I took an urban route out until I joined the Ely Trail for St. Fagans, which I didn’t quite make it to. I’d started a bit late and had to meet a mate at a set time so had to turn around rather than carry on exploring. Had it all mapped out on the @garminuk 945 as well. The miles passed by and each time I just couldn’t quite believe it and I loved every minute. I saw the forecast for rain today but I hate overheating and it wasn’t going go be that cold so I wore my new #brooksrunvisible convertible jacket. First go for this! I had it on as a vest but my gut was proved right when it started absolutely hammering it down with rain. Less than 60 seconds later and I’d turned it into the jacket and later when it got even worse I had the hood up too. It was perfect for taking the edge off with the rain but not causing overheating. Later on the rain eased off and I changed it back. It’s so quick to do. I bloody LOVE this jacket. Shoes today were the new #brooksghost14 👍 I had the time of my life on this run. Don’t you just love it when an easy run actually feels easy, you float along and the miles just fall away? Bliss.
