For the past few days I've been asked how I planned to celebrate my new year. I usually try to do something to celebrate this day because, believe it or not, I've never had the opportunity often. I can maybe count on 1 hand and 3 fingers how many times I truly celebrated my birthday. As I got older I've been more intentional about doing something monumental. Today I'm home wearing a sports bra, shorts, a bonnet on my head and my glasses. This is what I'll be wearing all day. And I'll be celebrating by simply being grateful. Because , for me, there is no greater way to celebrate the coming new year than by reflecting on all the amazing blessings given to me this past year. I am filled beyond words from all the love that surrounds me. I thank each and every one of you who've made posts, sent private messages, sent texts and called me today. I am truly moved by it all. I'm going to try to respond to each of you.
