Today we marched with 2000+ abortion supporters for a National Day of Action for Abortion and FULL Reproductive Rights from Chicago, to Iran, and EVERYWHERE across this globe. 💕🗣💪 We know that our liberation cannot happen in isolation, and today was all about making those connections – across struggles, and among each other – in the fight to build the world we want to see. 🤝 Our movement is so vast, and our ability to really dig into how our fight is a collective one is what makes us strong. Today we heard from @fpawomenshealth, @nationalnurses, @ctulocal1, @bsaworkersunion, remarks from @alloptionsin, the next generation of upcoming medical professionals, and @chicagosouthsidebirthcenter. 💥💥💥 Abortion access is a community responsibility. Even though the highest court is trying to force abortion access to be determined by income and zip code, we refuse this reality. Abortion funds are more crucial than ever to make abortion access a reality. We are on the ground filling the gaps that our system is creating for people accessing basic healthcare. Support and amplify abortion funds. 🔊🔊 As Linda from @chiforabortion reminded us: “Yes, we must vote, AND we must do so much more!Voting alone has failed us for the last half century, as abortion has steadily become unavailable to more and more people.
