this all still feels so unreal. but when I think about this team, I know it must be. even when this job is challenging or stressful, it’s still easy and fun. @jbrekkie has assembled such a strong team of people who are always working to be their own best, people who match and support the way she puts herself into everything she does. it’s inspiring and gratifying to swirl around in this energy, to be both part of and carried by the current as we continue to build upward into the next great big “can you believe we get to fucking do this??” moment. I almost cried a bunch of times over the last few days that made a lot of sense to me, but couldn’t. and then I cried a couple times that didn’t make sense at all, but I couldn’t hold it back. I’m honestly almost crying right now. I never would’ve guessed I’d feel so emotional about this. but it was a huge HUGE week. I’m so proud of everyone here for all the hard work and pure talent that went into making Japanese Breakfast’s SNL debut so perfect. ooooooooh what a RUSH 💛🧡💛🧡 I’ve now decided it’s a goal of mine to host SNL one day lol so I’ll be over here working hard and manifesting that xoxo thanks for listening
