As I reflect on my journey as @missuniversecanada I am filled with gratitude. To god thank you for making this dream come true. Little did I know that one day I would be the 2nd black woman to win the title . It was a peculiar year; but boy did we make the best of it! I had the opportunity to travel to the world and reunite with my family after 21 years. To @davila.denis , my queen mothers Miguel and gui and @fly.ethiopian thank you for giving me the gift of a lifetime. Being a titleholder, is not an easy task - it requires a lot of work. but those experiences have made me stronger. Miss Universe Canada has changed my life forever. To my village @sonnyborrelli @natalieglebova @paolasbeautybar @bartolottaemartorana , Tiffany of @ninepointagency , Andrea @renuevsculptingnyc , uncle al and Xiara and @michaelcinco5 you have been a huge part of my journey. my fellow queens, find people who champion and celebrate you.
