Last night I had the privilege of attending the NYC premier of Ms. Marvel. I’m so happy, that unlike me, my daughter will never be able to say that growing up she never saw a brown (female!) superhero on the big screen. Thank you @marvelstudios and @sanaamanat622 for introducing Kamala Khan to the world. Ms. Marvel is a Muslim Pakistani-American teenager from New Jersey (!!!) Watching Anya’s eyes light up watching this badass character at AMC last night (and then seeing her in real life) was absolutely incredible. 💛 Shoutout to @hasanminhaj for moderating a great and hilarious Q&A with cast and crew!
