When we started this business 5 years ago, we didn’t have money to experiment with, or anyone to tell us if we were doing it right or wrong. We were newly married and I was pregnant with Deniz. We had $1,000 worth of towels and blankets that we thought we could sell online. BUT each month we did our best to build a home and our business into a successful venture, and through the support of family, many new friends, and our customers we were able to do that! We worked constantly, finding amazing products to share, and creating a network of suppliers, designers, and customers who wanted to be a part of our dream. Last year, we opened a new store with a large warehouse to meet our growing online demand, and this year, we added a second warehouse! Like many other entrepreneurs, we have made many mistakes, and maybe even cried a little over them, but through it all we never forget to laugh too! We carry hundreds of boxes (and Fahri hurts himself every time😊), and work almost every weekend at markets talking to hundreds of wonderful people about what they love about The Loomia!
