A few weeks ago I was listening to an episode of Dialogues, the podcast by David Zwirner, and someone said: People want to make things that will reproduce well - because they understand the biggest distribution network is the digital one. I find it interesting cause this project is so, so hard to reproduce online. It’s kind of the opposite, actually. The book -designed to be read and experienced in both directions, with photographs and texts working together as one- needs to be physically held to be completely understood. Which I guess makes sense considering the story being told in it. So I guess you’ll have to go get one if you’re interested - link in bio.
