READ CAPTION: My point is that it it’s wild to see how things panned out with some of these investor-loved tech golden boys who looked good on paper. Meanwhile, we have marginal*ized founders who look good on paper and ARE AWARE that they have to be 3 times as excellent in order to be easily taken as seriously as the bros. We have these founders busting their butts to look and be great being turned away or being given lesser money. Id love to see how things pan out if the marginal*ized founders—who are DESERVING of seats at the table—id love to see how things pan out if these people recieved the same openhearted reception as some of these, “fake it till you make it,” type tech bros. So many investors have been screwed over by THESE seemingly wunderkindy geniuses (we work, nikola, etc) that YOU’D THINK they’d be willing to try something new by now
