I wasn’t sure we’d ever find THE house for our family and it was pretty defeating at times in the waiting but we knew when it was right, it would happen. Somehow the stars aligned when the opportunity to build the exact house we wanted just down the street came to us. Yesterday marked one year since we moved in and there hasn’t been a day without one of us saying “I LOVE THIS HOUSE.” But the part we didn’t expect is all the wonderful neighbors who have become some of our closest friends. It’s the kind of neighborhood you can let your kids go out to play because someone’s always watching, the neighborhood you can ask someone for that cup of sugar- the neighborhood I dreamed my kids would get to grow up in. We may not have accomplished any of the projects I had hoped in this past year (more on that another time 😂) but we couldn’t be happier that we ended up here! 🫶
