She was a scholarship athlete in women's basketball, playing for both Duke University (3 years) and finishing up her career at Butler University, graduating with a BA degree in 1995. She is a member of the Silver Anniversary Team at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame. Her passion for modeling began at the age of 35 when most models are coming to the end of their careers. She was in People Magazine's World's Most Beautiful Women Issue in 2016 (sans makeup), has walked the red carpet at the Kentucky Derby for 6 years wearing the live Derby Rose Dress, and most recently was chosen and flown to Miami to walk the runway for @si_swimsuit for their 2022 Miami Beach Runway show at 50 years old! While she enjoys getting glammed up and volunteering with her best friend (AKA her husband Bart), for charity events near and dear to her heart, her favorite place to be is on the sidelines cheering on her 2 two teenage daughters on the lacrosse field.
