Not sorry if this pic of me being pleased with myself isn’t what you were looking for today - it’s not cookies or pies. Currently I am being served more weight loss ads than I’ve ever experienced on this app - meal plans for keto foods, weight loss drugs, magic diets. It’s like you can’t follow even one weight lifting account or kettlebell trainer without making it into the insane weight loss culture algo. It makes me question myself every time I open this frikkin app just to see what my friends are up to or enjoy some art or gardening content. It’s all summer body or 2 week Pilates body transformation plans - and I’m so tired of it. Here’s a perfectly normal body, “overweight” and yet very, very strong. Earlier I was riding @onepeloton screaming my face off to Jimmy eat world. Then I crushed some medium heavy weights. Before that I enjoyed some pudding. Right now all I want is grilled chicken and green beans. It’s all normal. It’s all good. Bodies are cool and I am lucky mine mostly works how I want it to. Wear a crop top this weekend while eating a burger if you want to! You’re absolutely gorgeous doing things that make you happy!
