iFollow (Directors Cut) [The Teenage Girl] The girl represents the need to upload her life. Appearance consumes her. And the satisfaction of posing and posting doesn’t reassure anymore. I feel like most of us can relate in some way to this and social media. I wanted to show a ‘real’ side to someone we may consider an influencer, a side of loneliness. My art director smashed it creating what I described as a ‘depression room’. Thank you to all the crew and cast for helping me put this video together.
