TODAY the 35,000 sq ft five story @starbucksreserve CHICAGO ROASTERY location alongside Chicago’s Magnificent Mile is finally OPEN to the public ✨ ⁣ ⁣ The Roastery serves only rare coffees that are roasted on-site in small batches. This reserve is expected to roast 200,000 pounds per year, in 25-pound batches. WHAT?! 😱⁣ ⁣ EACH FLOOR has something unique to offer from observing the coffee roasting process on the ground level to a coffee bar where baristas will create unique coffee mixtures on the third floor to the Barrel-Aged Coffee Bar where mixologists create non-alcoholic coffee drinks from beans aged in Knob Creek Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey barrels on the fourth floor to seeing pastries make their way around on the bakery conveyor throughout the building.
