what a way to end my last season of show choir ever! show choir has been a part of my life all through high school, and it’s not just the singing and dancing i love. it’s how it created a family and another community at school where i could always laugh and feel safe. to me, show choir is more than just cleaning choreo until it’s perfect, it’s feeling like you belong. it’s feeling wanted and seen. i have created such deep friendships that i know will follow me out of high school, and without all of this, i would be missing these and one of the biggest blessings to come from these four years. and i don’t think i would have even tried out for show choir if it weren’t for my older sister, ava. thank you for being my role model and the person I have always looked up to. Also, thank you to Miss Wissink, who has stuck with us through thick and thin. you have been such a gift and blessing to me and all of us!!
